Foot & Trail Orienteering: Access for All Anywhere
The basics of foot/trail O will be provided with essential handout links followed by immediate participation in several types of virtual tempO. Foot orienteering is for those that can freely travel through the woods to find a single control with a map and compass. Trail orienteering accommodates both able bodied and those with disabilities as all participants stay on a trail and seek correct controls at stations, (also using a map and compass) hosting one or more controls. The sport involves, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and joy in knowing more about land, nature and one’s connection to it.
